Vocabulary means knowing and using words. It’s your child’s store of words. Talk with children and encourage children to talk with one another. Keep the conversation going by asking questions, making comments and inviting children to think and share their ideas. The more words a child hears, the more words he will learn and use. It’s important to have as many conversations as possible with your child during the day.
